Which of the following is an example of an effective conclusion for a cause and effect essay?单项选择题
d. As Sleep.com says: “Adolescents today face a widespread chronic health problem: sleep deprivation. Although society often views sleep as a luxury that ambitious or active people cannot afford, research shows that getting enough sleep is a biological necessity, as important to good health as eating well or exercising. Teens are among those least likely to get enough sleep; while they need on average 9 1/4 hours of sleep per night for optimal performance, health and brain development, teens average fewer than 7 hours per school night by the end of high school, and most report feeling tired during the day (Wolfson & Carskadon, 1998). “
b. Because school start times are rooted in tradition, they must be revisited. We cannot do something just because we have always done something; to do so is to be caught in a loop that benefits no one. Science shows that sleeping later benefits teen’s learning, and that is the goal of education. Because I graduate this year, I have no benefit from making this argument, but for the sake of my younger siblings I would like to see education make choices that put science first and tradition last.
c. In conclusion, school start times must be made later. To not do so would be stupid, but then that is typically the type of move administrators make. They just want to see us be tardy so that they can give us detention and yell at us in the hallways. I hate that FBISD doesn’t even know the science behind school start times.
a. Because school start times are rooted in tradition, parents and teachers are reluctant to change. Who knows if we will ever see a change in Fort Bend ISD or not.

"Both zoos and reserves attempt to ensure that animals will survive for future generations, but, whether intentionally or not, both habitats potentially harm the animals they seek to protect. To ensure that future generations of animals will escape extinction, the best answer might be neither zoos nor animal reserves but simply for humans to leave animals alone in their natural habitat. At the very least, humans must find an ethical and humane way to preserve all species with which we share the planet." (Folse, 2014, p. 119) The conclusion paragraph above comes from an essay which argues that although zoos and reserves seem to protect animals from extinction, they may, in fact, be jeopardizing the well-being of animals since zoos do not replicate the conditions of the wild and reserves might attract poachers who kill these animals to sell their parts in the black market. Based on this information, which of the following is missing from this paragraph?
It is OK to acknowledge limitations of your essay in the conclusion
