Februar 1804 in Königsberg (Preussen)  Immanuel Kant: Sesshafter Weltbürger 1724 in Königsberg geboren, lebte, studierte und lehrte Immanuel Kant, bis auf seine Jahre als Hauslehrer, fast durchgängig in seiner Heimatstadt: Er studierte dort ab 1740 Philosophie, Mathematik und Theologie und promovierte 15 Jahre später. Zwischendurch war er als Hauslehrer verschiedener Familien in Preußen tätig. Er lehrte ab 1755 als Privatdozent, bis er 1770 eine Berufung zum Professor für Logik und Metaphysik erhielt. Obwohl Kosmopolit in seinem Denken, hat Kant seine Heimatstadt Königsberg, das heute russische Kaliningrad, nie verlassen.
